Call for Papers
Since 1985, the New German Review has been a medium for graduate students, post-docs, and junior faculty to share their ideas with the academic community worldwide.
We strongly encourage contributions within the broader field of German studies, including articles that deal with art history, cultural studies, critical theory, history, literature, linguistics, and philosophy. Book reviews and interviews also form an essential part of our publication.
The New German Review is peer-reviewed and edited by graduate students in the Department of Germanic Languages at UCLA.
Submissions must comply with MLA conventions, with endnotes and works cited. Articles should be between 15 and 25 pages, and book reviews should not exceed 2 pages. Articles may be written in either German or English. Please submit manuscripts prepared for blind review in electronic form by February 15, 2013 to eScholarship's submission management system.
Questions concerning future submissions may be sent to NGR@humnet.ucla.edu. Please contact NGR through eScholarship once an article has been submitted for review.
