Submission Guidelines
Articles submitted to the journal should consist of the following:
- A separate document with the title of the article, the author's name, and contact information.
- A document containing an abstract of of approximately 200 words, the article itself, and the references cited. This article must be anonymous: the author's name should not appear on the title page (or elsewhere); do not use wording such as "In Smith 2010 I showed that..." or "As I have argued previously (Smith 2010)..."; suppress acknowledgments that would reveal your identity (e.g. grant numbers, institutions you are associated with, colleagues in your own institution); make sure your name or institution is erased from the Properties menu in pdf's (from the hanging menu: File > Properties > Description).
It is preferable to have your original submission in pdf format. If after our peer review it is accepted, we will ask you to submit it in both pdf and Word or similar format.
Language of submission
English is preferred, though French, German, and Russian are also acceptable. Regardless of language, the article should follow standard international conventions for linguistic and general scientific writing (see just below).
Style and organization
Articles should be issue-oriented or problem-oriented and evidence-based. Use a standard or otherwise straightforward organization, preferably with numbered sections and subsections and informative titles for each. The introduction should state and briefly support the research question, issue, problem, or hypothesis. (Include only the references needed; do not aim for a lengthy review of literature.) For more on organization see the style sheet.
