Submission Guidelines

How to Submit a Paper

The Ralph and Goldy Lewis Center for Regional Policy Studies seeks submissions to its working paper series. The series is designed to disseminate the results of research relevant to the Center's interest in Southern California, in particular, and questions of regional and urban change and policy, more broadly. We welcome relevant submissions from a broad range of disciplinary backgrounds, subject to the usual standards of academic quality.

Papers submitted for publication should be double-spaced and no more than 30 pages in length including footnotes, tables and figures. Please send one hardcopy along with a copy of the text on a disk formatted in Word, Wordperfect or RTF. Please include the lead author's contact information, including e-mail. As it is intended that our series provide libraries and other institutions with original documents not otherwise available, we request that working papers accepted by our series not appear in publication in a scholarly journal or book for at least six months following the publication as a working paper.

Each paper will be reviewed /approved prior to publication and each submitter will be contacted directly when their paper will be published. Papers will also be available on the Lewis Center's web site at no cost.

Send papers for consideration to Paul Ong, Director, The Ralph and Goldy Lewis Center for Regional Policy Studies, 3250 Public Policy Building, MC 165606 (or via outside mail addressed to: Paul Ong, Director, Lewis Center for Regional Policy Studies, University of California, Los Angeles, Box 951656, Los Angeles, CA 90095-1656).

Submit the paper by emailing it to lewisctr@sppsr.ucla.edu. Include in an email message the following things: abstract; keywords; and name, affiliation (department and university), and email address for each author.

If you have any questions, contact lewisctr@sppsr.ucla.edu.
