Themes
Regeneración Tlacuilolli: UCLA Raza Studies Journal is committed to depicting the intellectual, cultural, and historic issues pertinent to Chicanas, Chicanos, Latinas, Latinos, Indigenous Peoples, and Latin Americans. The focus of Raza Studies on these diverse yet intrinsically related groups requires different methods and interdisciplinary perspectives to critically examine history and culture, as well as the historic and social implications of colonialism, racism, capitalism, sexism, and homophobia on and within these communities. With this focus in mind, the editors of Regeneración Tlacuilolli: UCLA Raza Studies Journal encourage original contributions that cross the boundaries of humanities and social science fields. The journal will accept articles, creative writings, and book reviews that convey the themes of the journal.
