Removal

eScholarship and the Berkeley Undergraduate Journal of Classics do not generally support the removal of publications once posted. We feel it is important to provide perpetual access to materials published within eScholarship whenever possible and appropriate. However, we will remove publications under special circumstances, including in the case of submission errors, rights violations, or inappropriate content. Please be aware, however, that even after the removal of a text, a citation to the paper will remain in our system, along with a URL.

If you would like your work removed from eScholarship, please contact us.

Author Agreement

By submitting content for consideration, you agree to the following license:

I grant the California Digital Library (hereafter called the "Organized Research Unit") on behalf of The Regents of the University of California (hereafter called "The Regents") the non-exclusive right to make content for eScholarship (hereafter called the "Work") available in any format in perpetuity.

I warrant as follows:

(a) that I have the full power and authority to make this agreement;

(b) that the Work does not infringe any copyright, nor violate any proprietary rights, nor contain any libelous matter, nor invade the privacy of any person or third party; and

(c) that no right in the Work has in any way been sold, mortgaged, or otherwise disposed of, and that the Work is free from all liens and claims.

I understand that once the Work is deposited in eScholarship, a full bibliographic citation to the Work will remain visible in perpetuity, even if the Work is updated or removed.

Author Rights

While the agreement above grants California Digital Library a license for works submitted to the Berkeley Undergraduate Journal of Classics, the license is non-exclusive. Authors are permitted to re-publish their work in original or modified form elsewhere, provided that future publication agreements do not require that the version submitted to BUJC (and published on eScholarship) be modified or removed. Authors are also welcome to self-archive any version of their own manuscript on a personal website or inistutional repository.
