Aim and Scope

The National Black Law Journal was created by students at UCLA to address legal and policy issues of concern to the Black community. We view the resurgence of the National Black Law Journal as an important step towards cultivating legal discussion of the issues affecting the Black communities both on campus and worldwide.

Ultimately, we view the Journal as a place where students can sharpen their editing and writing skills and gain experience in critical thinking.
