Museum and Curatorial Studies (MACS) at UC Santa Cruz is an organization founded by Lucian Gomoll and Lissette Olivares that includes a Faculty Research Cluster, additional sponsorship by the Center for Cultural Studies and the History of Consciousness, as well as a number of member initiatives, including publications, conferences, seminars, exhibitions, and workshops related to the poetics and politics of display across various disciplines.
